Mr. Baranov is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Invasta Capital. He has more than 25 years of experience acting as founder, investor and executive of various businesses in banking and chemical industry. In recent years, Mr. Baranov served as executive director of banks Capital-Moscow and Inkarobank, and Chairman of chemical companies OJSC “Kaustik” (Volgograd) and Zirax.

Mr. Baranov currently is a shareholder of Nikochem Group and the Chairman of the management company Nikochem, also Chairman of Soligran (JV of Solvay and Nikochem).

Mr. Baranov earned a Master’s in Theoretical Physics from Moscow State University and completed an MBA course at Russian-American University at MSU.
